My favourite mechanism type, at least in theory. Never quite as satisfying to use as they look.

Unbeaten for pure practicality and function; the click mechanism is perfectly paired with the ballpoint

Often a reliable, if slightly tedious type of pen to deploy, they've been around for over 80 years

Never my go-to pen type, but somehow the most numerous in my collection

One of the most traditional of pens, that somewhat surprisingly still has it's place
